Student Success

95.9% Positive Career Outcomes

95.9% of graduates from the Class of 2023 were employed, enrolled in graduate school, enlisted in the military, or not seeking.

The knowledge rate for this survey was 81.7%.

Service Learning Program Success

Since 1994, students at the Mount have contributed more than $1.9 million of in-kind service to the Cincinnati region through our credit-bearing service learning program.

Cooperative Education

Cooperative education, also known as co-op, gives you a fantastic opportunity to learn in an actual career setting, applying your interests and learning about career options. Nearly one-third of the students who participate in cooperative education at the Mount accept full-time employment with previous co-op employers following graduation.

Prior Learning Assessment

We recognize that university-level learning happens outside of the classroom as well. That’s why we provide prior learning assessment, a service that evaluates the professional and personal experience you gained prior to enrolling at the Mount, and reward you with academic credit.

Study Abroad & Cultural Immersion

Study abroad and cultural immersion allow Mount students to experience the world, lending a global perspective and providing an opportunity for personal growth. Students travel to Egypt, Berlin, Japan, the Appalachian Mountains, Cherokee and Lakota reservations and more.

Service Learning

Service learning is an opportunity for students to earn academic credit by participating in meaningful service activities. Service learning fosters a deeper understanding of academic course content and enhances a sense of civic responsibility necessary for the flourishing of any community. Participation in service learning provides a chance for students to explore career paths, build one’s resume by gaining experience, and meaningfully build relationships with community partners.

Professional Development Funding

The Career Center Professional Development Fund assists eligible students with expenses associated with participation in career-related opportunities such as co-ops and internshipsFor example, grants can be use for expenses such as professional attire, transportation, parking, childcare, and fees for professional licensure.
